Every change is a proposal you approve
Keel reads what happens in chat, meetings, and code, and suggests what should change. It never changes the plan on its own; a person approves, edits, or rejects every proposal.
Shift 3 tasks +4 days
Auth service moved 4 days; Payments API, App integration, and Mobile release depend on it.
Move Payments API to Checking
PR #212 was merged into main.
What it does
- The exact changeEach proposal shows the diff: which tasks, which fields, old and new values.
- Reasoning and evidenceWhy the change is suggested, how confident Keel is, and the message, commit, or meeting moment behind it.
- One-click decisionsApprove or reject in one click. Rejecting asks for an optional reason so the next proposal is better.
- Edit before approvingChange the values in the diff first. The edit is recorded too.
- Grouped changesApprove a set like “shift 3 tasks” together, or item by item. If one part fails, none of it is applied.
- Never staleProposals expire or are superseded when the plan changes, so you cannot approve an outdated one.
How it works
Every flow in Keel follows one loop: a signal becomes a risk, a risk becomes a proposal, and only an approval changes the plan.
- A signal comes in from chat, a meeting, or code.
- Keel writes a proposal with the diff and evidence.
- You approve, edit, or reject it.
- Approved changes apply in one transaction.
- The audit log records the agent and the approver.
Proposals and approvals questions
Can the AI change my project plan by itself?
No. Agents can read and propose. Changes to tasks, dates, or owners apply only after a person approves, unless your workspace allows small changes like comments and labels to apply on their own.
Can I approve proposals from my phone?
Yes. Proposals have a mobile layout for approving or rejecting on the go.
What happens if a proposal is out of date?
It is marked as superseded and can no longer be approved, so an old suggestion never overwrites newer work.
